Coleus
Size:10-12 inch Pot: plastic grow pot Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Morning sun with afternoon shade is ideal—too much harsh direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light causes the leaf colors to dull and turn plain green. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Coleus droops quickly when under-watered, but will recover fast once given water. Avoid letting the soil completely dry out. Soil: Plant in a rich, well-draining potting soil mixture to keep moisture balanced without standing water. Pinch & Prune: Regularly pinch off the growing tips and any flower spikes that appear. Pinching encourages bushy, full foliage and prevents the stems from becoming leggy. Temperature: Loves warm environments (60°F to 85°F / 15°C to 29°C). It is frost-sensitive, so bring it indoors if temperatures drop below 50°F (10°C). Fertilizer: Feed every 2 to 4 weeks during active growth with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers, which can reduce foliage color vibrancy. For ceramic or terracotta pot, please check availability in combo products.
